...ya' know, in retrospect, a lot of Vegeta's moments do make him seem like a Homer Simpson type of person. Alas, I'm the strongest in the universe! D'oh, Kakarot is stronger. I'm the prince of all Saiyans, D'oh, Vegeta exploded I'm the prince of about 5 people. I will use the dragon balls to give myself immortality. D'oh, fell asleep then Freiza killed me.

True, it's hilarious seeing him build himself up so much and fall flat so often. He still has his awesome moments, unlike Homer whose awesome moments are few and far between, but he still manages to be the lovable oaf more often than not.
