I would recommend avoiding discussions on it for the near future. People can and will get crazy.
Most people who will be losing their nut don't even understand what it means. It was more against the government than women.
And they are acting like abortions will be 100% outlawed everywhere when most places will still allow it. I think maybe 4 or 5 states will ban it outright which can be changed with local voting.
Either way, I just hope not too much damage results from this. I know pregnancy centers have already been attacked with firebombs. Some are saying they will be targeting churches as well. A few protesters even mentioned getting violent now.
I understand the concerns to a certain degree even though I am not in agreeance with abortion but being violent will not solve the issue. If anything, it will just cause more people to turn away from their cause and not want anything to do with them. We have so many options these days, abortion numbers should not be 800k+ a year in the US. It should be safe, legal, and rare.
Either way, I fully expect the Democrats and Socialists to use this subject as means to manipulate votes out of people because the economy is not doing good.

13 states have trigger laws which will outright ban it within 30 days.
Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
I assumed it would only be 4 or 5. Well, this may just be the issue that pushes the country into a civil war.
What's going to do it is the actions by the left in response to this. They're already calling the court illegitimate and some have even called for it to be abolished. I don't think they understand what they're doing at this point.
I wanted to pull up a map. Assuming this sticks, I don't know how this will pan out.
I mean if this were to become a civil war, how can you even split this? Will some of the non-trigger states join in with the trigger ones? Would each state be fighting itself?
I do not want to see it comes to that but with how people are today, how divided this country is and how much hatred is everywhere... I can't see this ending well.
We're going to end up with a national divorce at this point along ideological lines. Since this case re-affirmed States' rights, people who believe leftist ideas will cluster together in leftist enclaves. Conservatives will do the same. You're already seeing the beginning of it with some people fleeing CA because of cost, crime, and politics. Movement of people will become more pronounced until everyone settles into an ideological trench warfare.
But this is how the first one started... A divorce... Until they wanted the rights to the military bases and weapons.
