It isn't because of not going, it is because I don't handle loss well. If it was someone I once knew, even if it was someone who treated me horribly, I still feel a sense of sadness.

They killed off one of my favorite characters on a show I watch today and I can't get over it.
I started watching it in 2015 cause he watched it while he visited me and I got into it. I am a shameless fan now.
He said a bunch of people were when he was growing up but he never got into that one.
My brother and sister are super into it. They've started watching from the start (1983ish) and I caught a few episodes when they were back for the holidays - it's pretty dreadful even for a soap back then.
I watched it a bit in the early 00s. It was okay then. It got to total trash towards the end.
