So this game is already getting negative feedback. Some of the stuff I have read and heard :

- Terrible UI
- Bad colors/too bright
- Too much going on
- Too much downtime between matches
- Confusing mechanics
- Repetitive/boring game play
- Not fast-paced enough for an online FPS

And there is more but those are the main complaints.

I thought this was going to be a free to play game but it turns out it is a $40 game. It officially comes out on the 5th but the pre-launch online play appears to be free until then. I considered trying it but only if it was free which it is not and after seeing others play it, I am not a fan of how it looks and after seeing the UI... No thanks. Going to skip right over this one. I have a feeling it will be just another dead online FPS game in under a year.

I miss games like Blacklight: Retribution. I wish someone had bought the game and fix the minor issues and kept it going. It was a solid FPS experience. A mix of CoD and Halo.
 
I heard folks already starting to abandon it.

I don't even understand these "wokies" flocking to this game. I haven't seen any social justice, rainbow mafia, commie bs being pushed in it. It just looks like a boring, bland game. I would have rather them fixed the Halo online game that is free to play. Very few FPS games can be paid and have a good player base. I don't know what they were thinking.

It uses battleye too which is always heavily criticized by PC players. I can't see it doing good on Steam. It is will be live and for official sale in 2 hours. Let's see how it goes!

Well I grew up playing Halo with my little brother. I played on his Xbox. So maybe they feel loyal to Bungie in that sense.

However, I don't care how bad it does Sony you promised us Halo for the Playstation and we are making you keep it

So I watched some game play of it. I am sure it will have a player base and fans but I was right about it not being appealing to me.

I predict that 70% of the player base will be gone in 3 months. Not because it is bad, it is just too niche and people will move on to something else. I could be wrong but I just don't see it retaining player value long term.
 
Looks like a Halo clone to me. But with bright neon paint. So why not just make a new Halo game if that is what they were going for.

If they had put a little more thought they should have done something totally different like maybe a racing game.

It is fairly different from Halo. They would have been better off fixing Halo Infinite and breathing new life into it.

I saw a lot of comments saying they could have remastered Halo, and made them multi-player etc.

Hopefully, Sony doesn't let us down.

Looking like the numbers aren't there and the rumor is that they aren't making any money thus far. Like outside of the purchase of the game. People aren't buying cosmetics. The numbers dropped a lot already. Not looking good for them.
