Fuji TV recently came under scrutiny for allegedly selling out its female staff like sex workers to powerful individuals at private parties. One of those involved, ex-SMAP member Nakai Masahiro, reportedly assaulted a woman and attempted to cover it up with hush money.

It is sounding like they are losing a lot of money right now and will be forced to sell off these bigger shows to other networks. Hulu appears to be getting mentioned which is... strange.
 
I feel this thread should have more traction. Many may forget that human beings are running programs or other form of entertainment we may indulge in.

These type of things tend to be "He say, she say." Although, ppl have resigned.

Some guys feel they have power, thus have immunity & can crosslines with ppl that should not be crossed (Sexually). While, some women want to cash in on past sexual advances they had no issue with at the time....lets just keep it a buck.

Doubt this affects shows, imo of course.

This kind of crap happens all the time in the US, I just never hear of it happening in Japan which is what shocked me.
