Was Libertarian, but the last Governor candidate (who also ran for President) is a complete shithead. He was an obvious leftist who infiltrated the party and killed the momentum it was building. Funny how people will waste money to keep things from changing.

Oh my God finally another centralist, people get that confused because of conservative or liberal takes that I have. That Perfect Cell guy that got banned didn't understand that very basic principle of just being between on things and then he called me a slur so maybe my views aren't so bad 😭

This seems... dumb. Like yeah we don't want people coming to America that hate the country and want to disrupt it... But making it all about antisemitism and not about just keeping Americans safe? This is just going to make people hate ze jewz even more.

I highly doubt your views are bad at all. People tend to be aggressive towards other individuals who don't share the same beliefs. Those people are the problem.

I don't tell people how to live, but don't want anyone encroaching upon my life or my families. That's how a lot of individuals across the planet want to live. Ive had friends delete me from Social Media because I refused to support whatever it was they were supporting at the time. That's the thing though, when you stand up for yourself and what you feel is right, you tend to see who the fake people are a lot sooner. If they leave you alone, they did you a favor and removed them from your life for you.

Yeah, Cell was a character. I knew him from some where else, and tried to get him to calm it down a bit. I was always cordial to him, and tried to let him understand that aggressively going after others (especially those with a pack mentality that arw just as aggressive) isn't going to do you any favors. Didn't listen and got himself banned from there. The only interaction I had with him here was the day he got banned and it was a private message swearing at me.

Sorry I'm a little long winded. Been sitting in this VA Lobby for a while now, haha.

On a previous forum I was an admin on, that guy caused problems there too. Nothing new. Gave him the benefit of the doubt plenty of times and I just got sick of dealing with it. Politics can get heated but it needs to be civil and if a person can't be civil they need to be adult enough to walk away. That is why I like to keep it all to one thread. No one fits a label or "party" perfectly. We can all find things we agree on and things we disagree on.

People that turn politics into a sports game cause so many problems. I saw a shift to this in like 2014 heavily in the mainstream and it has only gotten worse.

Oh yeah, politics can get very heated. I actually stay away from serious conversations now because some folks get so heated and call each other names.

I peel and fry my own. Usually have to make a large amount cuz my kids smell me frying them, they come running.

I just call them fried taters. Ain't nothing French about frying a potato from Idaho
