I seriously think it's a TOEI issue. I can't help but imagine the guys at TOEI are these really young edgelords with awful fan-fic ideas and they cram their lame ideas into the work Toriyama & Toyotarou hand over to them.

Actually, I was really liking that arc too.... up until that point. It was definitely the most original and creative arc DBS had. It sucks that it had to end with that stain on it.

The Trunks asspulls in the Zamasu arc are what I hate most about DBS. It's a textbook case of egregious fan service.
