Is this the "feature" I just experienced that edited my last post instead of making a new post?

I have all SSDs. Replaced out the HDDs a long time ago. Any of you make use of multiple volumes for any reason? Like, having one for OS and apps, another for personal files, another for temp files, etc.

If I were to want to convert these drives to a supported, non-NTFS filesystem, and move the files back. So this would allow me to move the files to a new drive, format the old one, and then I could do it again to move it back?

And here's where I was looking for suggestions ;)

Don't I lose out on some functionality? Thought I read somewhere that you don't get full support for things like permissions and symbolic links... and there's a difference in performance.

Do you do anything special regarding LVM/partition setup? Also, I have two additional SSDs for storage that are NTFS. Any recommendations for maintaining those files?

Can these be installed during the installation... or is this something you gotta do afterwards?

Oh, and then there's Google again... now constantly prompting me to enable their stupid AI shit in search. God damn, I'm so fucking sick of being asked to enable AI (or it automatically be enabled). My Android, Google, Windows Copilot... leave me the fuck alone!

I'll take a look at it. Just a shame that a browser that was once held in high regard has become so bad. But I was sick of Google and their anit-adblocker stance, that I switched back to Firefox.

Speaking of... Firefox has become insanely annoying with updates. So many frequent and on Win 11, it leaves this overlay up on my screen I have to constantly dismiss nagging me to update. I had to just turn off auto updates and now I manually download when I feel like it. As for M$... yeah...

Another thing I'm just tired of with Microsoft is them constantly trying to push using a Microsoft account to login to my computer. And the advertisements. I have the fucking Pro version, too.

Probably a long time coming, but I'm considering making the switch to Linux on my old box again. I built this one in 2011. It's old and Windows 10 is losing security updates soon. I'll still have my new PC running Windows 11, but maybe I can keep this old one going for longer on Linux. I know...

Yeah, if I'm going to a pool, I'd want it to be warm. But, I don't have my own pool and I don't feel like dealing with the HOA to go to the one across the street, so... yeah. Not happening. lol

Anything over 70 is too warm lol
