For example, the only OST in Super I really like is Ultra Instinct's theme, those opening strings are so hype. In fairness, I youtube SSJ4 Goku's theme because I didn't remember it, and it's oddly serene. It's not a bad composition, but why is this the theme to SSJ4? So credit where credit's due, they handled Uub better than I thought. But I still prefer how Super handles it. Granted, Uub is basically just a cameo nod in Super but considering Z set him up as the next defender of Earth after Goku, seeing in GT that the next defender of Earth was actually just Goku is pretty disappointing. [QUOTE="Mustafar Reginald, post: 28025, member: 113"] X. It's true that GT doesn't forget Dragon Ball's past, in fact it even begins bringing back Pilaf, Shu, & Mai into the story. Conversely, Super begins by bringing back Pilaf, Shu, & Mai into the story. I don't know what point they're making here. Granted, I guess GT's plots tend to harken back to the past more than Super's but both of them use their history well. IX. Ehhhh, maybe? If we're not counting Ultra Instinct as a transformation, 100% but counting Ultra Instinct, I prefer that to SSJ4. It's design's not as unique, but I think it's better in every way. For example, the only OST in Super I really like is Ultra Instinct's theme, those opening strings are so hype. Bad-ass' can have tranquil themes, see Guts, but for Dragon Ball? VIII. Manga spoilers but Super taps into something similar eventually so not anymore. Arguably Baby's is still a more unique approach but the manga doesn't put me to sleep so I'm giving this to Super. VII. Sure but it's a future where Vegeta grows a porn stache so is it really an improvement? Seriously though, this one I sort of agree with, I really hope Super one day surpasses the ending of Z in the timeline. VI. Yeah, fantastic concept. Can't really argue. V. 50/50. It features a more traditional art-style and colour palette that I'm use to but animation-wise, I don't remember GT being anything but passable. Like it's not bad, but I wouldn't recommend people watch any fights for the animation. Super is a bit more lopsided granted, but there are actually genuine moments of sakuga that I'd actually share. IV. Eh, sure? I've never been that into Great Apes tbh, but Super hasn't really done anything with it so I might not care but it's a pro for a lot so yeah. III. This is the second one I fully agree with. Maybe I am a GT fan. II. I was about to complain about this one but I looked on the Wiki and it turns out Uub did way more than I thought. I don't remember the music and the only song from Super (not counting OP & ED's) I really liked was Ultra Instinct, I have no strong opinions on this. I'd give it to Super for having the song I like.
