News AMC to hit 98% Reopening of Locations Today, 99% by March 26th

After being closed last year for Covid restrictions, AMC has announced that today they will have reopened 98% of their theatres in operation within the US. They expect that number to reach 99% by March 26th, allowing moviegoers to return to the cinema, socially distanced, to resume movie watching experiences.

This is great for people who enjoy it. Never been big on going to see a movie but it gives people one more thing to keep them busy and keep them offline which is a win.

Agreed, not a huge fan of crowds, and I only ever went during matinee showings to movies that weren't particularly popular when I did go (had been out for a while), so odds that I'll go back are slim at this stage. Good for others, though, means there's another activity open to get them out of the house again.
