Why is this a thing in America? What is wrong with cooking the turkey in the oven? It takes longer, sure, but it's not like you have to stand over it the whole time. Put it on overnight if you're that desperate, or better yet, cook it first thing and it'll be ready by meal time. This deep frying fad...and people keep on doing it! Yikes...
