That does explain why toriyamas Superhero said that gohan was stronger than goku! If Goku never got any upgrades past Blue that would make both more equal!
It does eem that asside from Gokus Characterization Toriyama is probably the best at writing DB Still! Which i mean makes sense he made it in the first place!

It Aparrently is! Although i think the reason why it is is cause toriyama either Forgot, didnt care about it or the manga isnt canon ergo goku cant use it all the time!

Off topic, but Gohan isn’t as bad a character as some make him out to be. His fans are more annoying than him, to be honest.
