I don't think it is bad. I really enjoyed it actually. I don't know what people expected it to be. This isn't the '90s anymore and a lot of anime has to be more kid-friendly to make sales in other countries. It is no DBZ but it is FAR from GT.

My only concern is they needed to tone down some of the slapsticky nonsense...kid friendly or not, it's cringey at parts. Like Bon Para Para cringe...

That is mostly filler though which can be skipped. When they actually get to fighting and stuff, it is fine.

Fair point, and in truth I've still got more Super to watch at the end, haven't finished it all.

The moment I realized they were really going to spend the first 30-ish episodes recapping the last two movies. Which I think was episode 3 or 4. It was early on. And to be fair, I like the Universe 6 arc and at least the first half of the Zamasu arc, so it wasn't all bad. Just most of it.
