News BLM Founder Moves To "White Area"

What I don't understand is why they are mad. The only reason this should be a big deal is the fact she got rich off BLM.

If I had money, I would move to a nicer area too away from people. They are typically mostly white areas and some of the safest places to live. It is hard to find an area near/in a major city that is safe unless you are wealthy enough to afford to live away from everyone else.

Yeah, it is actually a good thing when you look at it that way. Just because a person is black doesn't mean they need to live in a rundown city area or a ghetto. That kind of thinking in and of itself is racist. What is wrong with these people?

It's a very complicated issue that has many root causes in both political and socio-economic foundations. To put it mildly, minority communities have been taken advantage of by very liberal politicians with promises of jobs, prosperity, and opportunities. Places like Chicago have been in political stranglehold for longer than many of our parents and some grandparents have been alive.

Their policies dating back to the 60's such as the Model Cities Program during the LBJ era disincentived the nuclear family by providing federal aid money to single mothers with multiple children. Hence the fatherlessness rate in the black community in America is staggering high. I think we can all agree that having two parents in the home to give values to their children in the father and mother role is quite preferable and I'll even go so far as needed to help bolster well-rounded individuals.

Further proof is that minority and black families that move out of major metropolitan areas and out into the suburbs or even rural areas do FAR better socially and economically compared to their city based counterparts. These folks tend to seize upon opportunity both employment and educational to "break the cycle" so to speak of impoverished urban living minority families.

Like I said earlier, it's a very complex issue that can't be properly explained in a few short paragraphs. I urge you to do your own research if you're interested and perhaps you can come to your own conclusions based upon your findings.
