Suggestion Blogs

This just crossed my mind. What would you guys think if this forum suddenly had blogs?

It's an interesting idea, but what would they cover that isn't already available in the forums? I'm sure some could use it to post daily thoughts and such, but that could also go in the Kame House forum, so it would need to be something quite specific, IMO, to make it worthwhile.

You make a good point there... Blogs are a lot like forums in a way, anyway. I just considered this because the new DBZF forum has blogs now.

Yeah, I'm sure there are good points to them for some communities, but since we're a pretty verbose bunch already, the need for it would have to be relatively specific.

I have considered having a blog at the front end of the forum but it would need to be more populated and there would need to be writers for content. Not something that is possible right now.

The new articles feature in XenForo might be great for that. Literally a forum post that is formatted to look like an article/blog.
