Chuck E. Cheese and Applebee's have been selling food made in their restaurant kitchens under different names on delivery apps like Grubhub, according to The TODAY Show.

You may have seen Chuck E. Cheese trending on Twitter recently and that's because several people appeared to have come to the revelation that a delivery spot called Pasqually's Pizza & Wings had the same address as the local Chuck E. Cheese in their town. As scholars of Chuck E. Cheese know, Pasqually is a chef who is part of the animatronic band you might have seen performing at the restaurant as a kid, and apparently he's now hit the big time.

Reddit user kendallneff said that they ordered from the spot and then asked their Grubhub driver if they had picked up the pizza from a Chuck E. Cheese. Texts said to be from the driver seem to confirm that they had.

I had no idea businesses could do this and it was legal. It makes me wonder who else will be hopping on this trend. We'll probably have Clown Burgers and Burger Queen soon.

So what exactly is the problem?
The prices tend to be higher on these online-only restaurants. Likely down to Grubhub getting a profit from it. Either way, I don't think there is a problem. Yet, anyways. I think companies can use this against other businesses though and jack up prices without people knowing.

Ah, yeah price hiking I can understand as that has been a problem as of late, but no company will actually be held accountable for it so
False advertising is illegal and they can open themselves up to lawsuits.
This is America. If you are rich af then nothing is illegal, but if you are an average joe then everything is illegal.

As long as they don’t take money I earned away from me( thanks government) or curtail my civil rights I could care less what they do. I’m a big boy and I can make informed decisions.

I don't think I've been there just for the food, and haven't been there at all since I had my young nephew and neice out visiting, so took them there for entertainment. I couldn't imagine picking that as a place to go for their actual food, since it's very mediocre (IMO).

I went once a very long time ago. Had the chance to go again and refused lol
We never had one where I grew up and the closest thing was a locally owned arcade where I blew countless quarters and ate hot dogs until I couldn't feel feelings anymore. Good times.

Yes! Local arcades were the best thing ever! When I briefly lived in Arkansas there was one called Lokomotion that had everything, arcades, go karts, mini-golf, etc. That was the best thing ever invented!

Edit -- OMG! It still exists! I need to go back to Arkansas to visit this again. https://www.lokomotion.com/
