News Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro's Hand Impaled in Bowling Accident

In a situation in which we can all relate, 'Cake Boss' star Buddy Valastro has had his hand impaled following a terrible accident in his home bowling alley. Apparently, while bowling with his son, the pinsetter got stuck and would not release the pin from it's cage. Normally this is a common occurrence and an easy fix; however, something unusual apparently happened, unspecified in the article, and Valastro's hand was impaled, getting stuck in the pinsetter and impaled by the cage. Valastro's son came to help him free his hand and he was rushed to hospital where he apparently now faces a long road to recovery.

It was Valastro's dominant right hand, as well, so his cake making days are apparently on hold for now, though he'll obviously be able to keep on being the boss of his business.

Buddy Valastro, known as the “Cake Boss,” has seriously injured his right hand in a gruesome bowling accident, reportedly. The celebrity baker posted on Instagram this week a photo of himself in the hospital with his arm wrapped and elevated.

That's too bad actually and sounds pretty gore to go through. I used to watch his Italian recipes on television. Hope it doesn't affect his job too much.

Makes you wonder if there is any fun activity out here that won't get you a limb lighter.
 
It doesn't seem like it'll impact him or his business too much. He does still have his staff to make the cakes and talented artists to make the extremely fancy ones, which he can still design, so I think he'll be fine.

True, though, if even bowling isn't safe...is the hula hoop next?

Agreed, sounds like an extremely painful thing to go through, and it sounds like he's going to have a pretty long road to recovery.
