So it's called Ultra Ego and the more Vegeta fights the stronger he gets. Now this is my opinion, but analyzing his demeanor in the panels tells me this isn't a perfected form. It's more like it's Ultra Ego Omen. He let his ego run rampant and he was like Tony Montana all coked up at the end of Scarface just taking damage and not giving a damn until it was too late. It needs refinement because the change is personality seems to be clouding his judgement and his ego got the better of him. Hopefully they'll expand on this in future chapters and not let this be a dead end for Vegeta as he continues to trail behind Kakarot.
