Is anyone else glad to see him get more popular in the late 2010s and early 2020s? I remember he used to rival Mario and Sonic in the late 90s and early 2000s but as third party developers started to ruin his legacy more and more he became obscure in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Even Sonic never suffered the same fate after Sonic 2006 and Sonic Boom, he just got more critics and haters.
This also applies to Spyro but to a lesser extent since I’ve always felt that he was under Crash’s shadow as well as the fact that his games were never even as good anyway even though I still like them as well.
