Figured this was worth making a thread for.

@India Actual posted this tweet in the "Where the fudge is the anime series?" thread.

Now that we know the series will be coming back in 2023... I guess we can ponder on what month. I know the dub will take a while longer, it usually does.

If you know the basics or have followed the manga, do you think the anime will do better than it has done thus far? (Since "Super" began)

Moro arc as long as they don't retell Broly in anime format. I hope they don't.
It seems like a logical move since they did it for BOG and F - only thing it has going is that those weren't Dragon Ball Super when they happened. It also pads out a couple of weeks/months for the manga, especially since there's only one manga chapter a month.

Hopefully they won't retell the Broly Arc. They need to start with Moro then Granolah and Super Hero
Hopefully going forward they skip all the movies in the anime and just stick to the arcs from the manga. It'll all be one loose canon ( no pun intended ) but make more sense than what we got prior to Broly. The anime was ahead of the manga so it did it's own thing off Toriyama's outlines likewise Toyotaro drew up his own conclusions from said outlines.

I mean it will definitly be better than Anime TOP because the Anime Top was SOOOOOOOOOOO full of Filler!
And they fed up jiren he was much better in the Manga atleast on Perfect Cell (Manga) Levels which to be fair is a small bar to clear!

Wonder if it will make the move to a streaming service like Pokemon.

Just recently, I realized Pokemon S/S (Journeys) has been airing on Netflix for about 2 years now lol....

It might also be imprtant to clear some diffrences between Manga and Anime up so:
Majin Buu never entered at all in the prelude to the tournament of Power
Neither goku nor Vegeta have surpassed SSGSS in any Way they only Mastered the Form (which basically makes it work like SSGSS does in the Anime Anyway)
Toppo never turned into a God of Destruction!
Brianne doesnt Exist!
SSRose is Basically a Godly SSGSS
Goku Doesnt get destroyed by Ultra Instinkt instead he just doesnt Know how to acsses it whenever
Also Jiren gets a nice Character Building Scene Before the TOP

I'm 100% convinced they're re-telling Broly. I can't imagine Toei wouldn't to pad out the episode count as much as possible to get the most out of Super's Return. It's going to suck but after that, and maybe a few one-off filler episodes, we'll get the Moro arc which is the high point of Super so far imo. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing that animated.

Yeah, the more I think on it, it certainly would seem to be the route he takes considering he did it with DBS already... Twice. :disapprove2:
