Do you actively workout/exercise?

I recently started trying to make it a habit. I work at a desk so most of the day I spend sitting on my butt which is not healthy.

I use a rebounder for exercise. If you don't know what that is, it is basically a mini-trampoline. If I really push myself, I can do it for an hour straight but for the time being, I am going to stick to 30 minutes a day. I just put some music on and jump away. Rebounding has tons of benefits that come from doing it daily too like better posture, better circulation, improved oxygenation, healthier skin, and stronger muscles. It basically works everything in your body.

I am trying to get in better shape, inside and out and I told myself this has to be the year. I am getting older now so if I don't start taking care of myself, I will regret it.

Anyways, anyone else here actively workout or exercise?

I do moderate strength training with weights and kettle bells. I mostly stick to calisthenics to preserve my joints because I'm not getting any younger either. I do need to work on cardio because I ran up a hill the other day and I thought I was going to drop dead when I was finished. Any fitness gurus have any advice for good cardio that doesn't involve running and destroying my knees?

No. I did take martial arts classes last year, but that was only for two months.

I mean you could try rebounding. For some people, it helps their knees because it is low impact. Just jog in place on it and get your heart rate up. I just jump on mine and I am covered in sweat in 10 minutes lol

At the age of 32 (33 in a couple of weeks) I still play a fair bit of sport. So my cardio is fairly sorted. I do however still do weight training at home.
