Well not just movies, but TV shows as well?

I was watching a video on the topic and they point out how botox is making older actors look younger but it is also making it harder for them to express realistic emotions in their roles. Some of them get so many fillers that they can't even cry properly and it just looks strange. The few clips I saw, it has like an inhuman look about it.

I don't watch very many modern shows and I watch even less modern movies so I can't say I have noticed it a whole lot but I do know botox and fillers in general has become so trendy that people in their twenties are getting them now.

The buccal fat removal trend I am aware of because of memes and stuff. Mainly because of that "the Boys" actress getting it done and people being shocked by it.

This is the surgery that just makes people look strange and sickly. It doesn't make them look younger, it makes them look older.

Yeah, not a fan. Then again, I am not a fan of any type of plastic surgery or such. The one thing that is kind of interesting is how many poisons is in Botox.

I don't think they know enough about it to claim it is safe. I think it is still too risky.

I am sure it is to some degree, but the fact it has like snake venom and something else would be a big hell naw from me. I also seem to remeber that there was someone who talked about getting Botox and how if you quit it then you skin just gets twice as ruined than it wuld naturally, but I maybe misremembering.

I heard similar but it is worse when you start younger vs doing it 50+ in age and minimally.

Current trends all over are ruining TV and movies.

This video randomly appeared in my recommended, and it puts into words why I hate modern movies so much

I am not big into film or video but he is spot on. The tech got so good that people honestly just got lazy with it. Instead of looking for the perfect shot, they settle and say "ehh, fix it in post". Now all movies do that. This has bled into gaming and music too. It is why everything feels lifeless I think.

Also why some of the most timeless games don't lean into the whole photorealistic demands of every AAA game. The first Dishonored is 13 years old now, but its art style doesn't make you feel it.

I wish Hollywood practiced fat acceptance more often in general. LOL.
