The newly released anime movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly has made more than 2 billion yen, or around $18 million, at the Japanese box office in only 11 days.
Not only has Dragon Ball Super: Broly become the fastest Dragon Ball movie to reach the 2 billion yen mark, it has also sold around 1.5 million tickets in Japan.
Released in Japan on December 14, the movie doesn’t come Westward until next year, with the U.S. release on January 16.

I can't wait to see it. The animation is enough to make it worth it. I watched the first trailer and skipped the others as I don't want them to spoil too much for me.
