I only play Nintendo games, so I can't speak about any other consoles than the Switch.

The only things that excited me about Nintendo's Direct was Link's Awakening 2019, Fire Emblem Three Houses, and Pokemon Sword & Shield. Oh, and Hotel Luigi. I knew about all of those titles before they were announced at E3, anyway. Banjo Kazooie was a nice edition to Smash Ultimate too, I guess. People were waiting for that moment for years.

Other than that, nothing else was noteworthy. I hate how the new Zelda game will be essentially Breath Of The Wild 2. That game is by far the worst 3D Zelda title. This is coming from a long time Zelda fan. I was hoping for Zelda to go back to its roots even if I had my doubts about that.

It really seems like Metroid Prime 4 has just become a trademark title. Which is very unfortunate. The future for the Metroid franchise seems bleak to me.
 
I've yet to actually watch the briefings, but yeah, Metroid Prime 4 is shaping up to be a disappointment compared to what it could have been. I am also looking forward to Pokemon Sword and Shield, but haven't had a chance to look into much else. Same with the Sony and Microsoft side of things, haven't watched them as yet, but there are one or two things I'm interested in, as something of a hardcore gamer. Hopefully I can get some time this coming weekend to watch the briefings and form more thoughtful opinions, but for now...yeah, nothing jumping out just yet as being absolutely amazing.
 
I haven't watched E3 in several years now. I tend to know what games I am going to get prior to the presentations.

Doom eternal does look pretty impressive, agreed that it's one to look out for. I enjoyed the last Doom game on both Xbox One and Switch, so this one looks quite tempting.

Outside of Nintendo stuff, this was the thing from E3 I'm the the most excited about. One of the best video game trailers of all-time, even if I have no idea how it's going to play.

Banjo & Kazooie for Smash made the E3 for me though.
