We have a place nearby called Jim's Burgers and Eggs, it's one of those places that's become a local legend sort of thing, the food is great but they won't expand or franchise, so you've gotta' go to their one location and deal with the crowds, but it's so worthwhile. We also have a local chain called Pete's fish and chips, which is not owned by a Brit nor founded by one, just an American who came back from WWII, caught a disease that required him to live in a hot dry climate so he picked AZ, remembered how prevalent fish and chip shops were in Europe, opened one and the rest is history...pretty decent.
Right now it's probably Cactus Club since they have a good happy hour and steaks, burgers, and decent wings to choose from. Back home in America it would be Waffle House because I miss it terribly. I've never had a bad meal there whether it be honest to goodness breakfast or drunk off my ass at 3 am.
I love the breakfast at Waffle House. I love their waffles, bacon, hash browns, toast, and eggs.
