To be honest while politics are not my forte I feel like old heads need to chill and we need to bring forth this next era of this stuff, there's a point where all these decision makers that will greatly impact the country are pushing 80 like bro cmon grampa its time to lay down. When the major powers in the country, especially in a time such as this, going senile, what's the deal.

It seems like it is just people talking anyways. It wouldn't be ownership, it would be whatever the government wants where the US sector is controlled and China already said they don't want that.

Yeah, but musk buying it would just have more SEC scrutiny. Musk doesn't want that smoke. I'd rather have someone like Mr. Wonderful investing in it, and bringing it here. The only issue is technical expertise, we need someone eho is tech savvy to go in there and clean it up.

I'd rather it just be banned in the US like they did a few years back in India lol

America needs to make its own platform... We had Vine. It can be done again.

The issue is tiktok is BIG. There's millions of kids in there. You can create a business from that. You can build brands from that.

If I didn't know about their privacy issues there, I'd be a millionaire today.

The recommendation system is almost like an unleashed YouTube, put it that way.

I would LOVE to get in there, and brand myself in there, but I can't get over the psyop, and privacy issues.

The damage it does and has done to kids is not worth all the money in the world imo.

I agree, but there's thousands of "clients," "customers," and overall economy in there.

I know they'll remove the fire hose to the algorithm, but we got technology here in the U.S.

We are the best.

YouTube doesn't need it. They have Shorts.
Instagram doesn't need it, they have reels.
Facebook doesn't need it, they have similar technology.
Rumble can create their own version.
Gettr has a similar shorts system.
Twitter/X doesn't technically have a shorts system, but users use the default video uploader to upload shorts.

Anyone I'm forgetting?

Just raise the age limit for joining.

TikTok is one of the few coping mechanisms that I have for my depression. Losing it will take away one of the very few joys I have in my life.
 
I don't really use TikTok, for better or for worse, never found it all that interesting, only times I do use it is when my friends wanna send me something. But it gets a bad rep from the media because of the occasional thing that happens on there, or conspiracies that make people believe that were getting spied on by the app (which btw wtf would china want with random banter from people) but I digress, while a think TikTok and short-form contents like it, absolutely obliterate the attention spans of those who use it way to much, I feel like a ban altogether is hella extreme, and makes America look more stupid and paranoid than already perceived.
 
If AFD Wins i wanna hear nothing from you guys because most of you supported trump!

I do hope that AFD Doesnt win tho! I sorta feel forced to vote cdu even if i usually like to vote for smaller Parties!

Tbh it is silly when people single out germany for voting a far right party (AFD) when basically everyone does nowadays!?
Especially considering that our ARMY is Thrash!
