You can if you go through a tedious permitting process and then you just have to keep it at home and go take it to the shooting range for fun. There is no such thing as self defense here, big no-no. That's me lamenting the fact that I'm not back in America, where I can walk into the store/buy it online, fill out a 4473, pass the background, and walk my happy ass out with a brand new gun. Even swing by a big box store to get some ammo on the way home if the mood strikes me. *Sigh*

What would typically take a year with paper forms will now be down to a matter of 90 days or less.
