Habro's Monopoly game for Android/iOS is awful.

My job can be awfully boring often. I run each press 4 hours at a time and sometimes it's dreadfully boring.
So I started playing Monopoly on my phone... a LOT lol.

The AI trading code is awful. Not only are they easy to exploit, but they exploit each other.
I'm pretty sure they aren't coded to make "checks" for anything other than total value.
So they don't check to see if you're trading them something they need or most-importantly, something that would give you a color set.

Let's say they don't own a single yellow property or orange property.
You own Park Place and they own Boardwalk.
They will trade you Boardwalk for Ventnor and St. James.

It's the laziest AI coding I've ever seen.

But that's not the worst part of this version of the game. The symptom of it is worse.
The worst part is that I'm about 95% sure they knew their awful AI would be a pushover, so to try to compensate by "rigging the RNG" against you.
So although it's easy to pry properties from them, the game will ensure that the AI has a massively decreased chance of landing on your housed properties.
I noticed this gets the worst once you get 3 houses on a property.
If you have 1 or 2 houses on a set, the AI will land on it less, like 30%... but once you have 3 houses, it's like their chances of landing on them go down 90%.

A couple days ago, I played a game I wont ever forget.
By the time I passed GO the first time, I owned all 3 light blues and put 2 houses on each.
At one point I eliminated a player and I owned Boardwalk & Parkplace [2 houses on each], Baltic & Mediterranean [Hotels], all of the light blues [Hotels], and all of the purples [2 houses on each]. The T-Rex AI had only the orange set with a house on two of them and the green set and the Tophat AI had nothing.

I lost that game. Dead serious... it went like this.

They went at least 5 passes around the board without landing on a single property of mine and of those 5-6 passes, I landed on Income Tax three times.
The Tophat AI still didn't have jack, but the T-Rex AI had 2 houses on each orange property and 3 houses on New York by now.
I landed on New York.
That gave him enough money to make it 3 houses on the others.
Both of the AI's landed in jail and stayed there all 3 turns.
I landed on St. James and had to remove my houses from my purple properties and Boardwalk & Park Place to pay it.
They put hotels on them all.
Tophat landed on Connecticut, so I got $600.
I rolled double sixes and then the turn after that, double fours.
So I came right back around and landed on New York with a Hotel.
That let them put some houses on the green properties.
I landed on Pennsylvania with 2 houses and had to break my blue hotels down to 3 houses.
Tophat landed on Baltic and it bankrupt him, but I didn't have any money to invest in any of the property I got from him.
I landed on St. James again and went bankrupt.

That's more than just "A lot of bad luck"... that's complete bullshit. There's absolutely no way anyone is going to convince me that the RNG wasn't rigged to favor the AI here. 2 players making over 5 passes around the board without landing on one of 10 housed properties is beyond absurd. It's impossible.
On top of that, I landed on his orange properties 4 passes in a row... which is also absurdly unlikely.

I've been trying my damnedest to find an alternative of Monopoly I can play on my phone, but since Androids can't play Java or Flash, it doesn't seem to exist. :'(

The only boardgame-styled app I have ever played was a variation of Scrabble. I am not big into app games those and don't even have any on my phone right now. I used to play those Hasbro games on console though and have considered getting them on PC through Steam but they seem to get mixed reviews.

The more I play mobile games, the more I don't care for them. Any of them. Either it's a cash grab where the game is only fun if you're constantly throwing money at it or it's an awful game because it was rushed or cheaply made. So I really don't play mobile games at all anymore, they're always a waste of time.

Monopoly on mobile is the latter. It's obvious that Hasbro didn't see it as a very profitable game, so they did the absolute bare minimum to bring it to mobile. They probably coded the game in less than a days work.

It's really too bad, because a properly made Monopoly video game would be amazing... but it will never happen, because "money".
I'm a capitalism-favoring conservative, but video games are one of the areas that suffer under that system unfortunately. It's all about serving the gullible masses more easily parted of their money more than creating a good experience. The illusion of fun is much more profitable than actual fun. So all you get nowdays is the costly illusion of fun.

It bothers me a lot that things are that way, but it is what it is.
