Movies How would Goku from the movies fare against villains from the manga?

It's already reached a level of absurdity that makes it a bit hard watching. I mean, it was one thing when we reached SSJ3, then GT brought about 4, then it was stepped back to oh well now he's a god...and now he's a god with blue hair! Now he's a god with ultra instinct...just have one final form, one final throw of the dice and retire the saiyan arc. Keep DB going, but hey, maybe let's spend some time focusing on characters from another universe we haven't seen much of and let's follow the build up of their races without 17 transformations.
I wouldn't mind Piccolo being front and center. He only gains strength and doesn't transform. I just can't see them doing anything without Goku at this point. I am still invested in the series and the characters but DBZ had a different feel compared to Super.
They've got to let Goku die at some point, and I mean he goes off into the afterlife training for the martial arts tournaments there and being at peace with the world in the hands of other protectors...and we transition to a new series, new characters, new adventures and so on. DB can't keep going on just Goku and his infinite power-ups...to keep it fresh, start things over again elsewhere. Maybe there's a...dun dun dun...brand new, 13th universe? We see its formative years, first species, first space-fairing races, first interactions, first development of fighting techniques, first founding of the universes dragon balls, first wish, and so on...so much new content that could be watched and so many new paths that could be forged. Familiar, yet new.
I don’t want to go into too much detail to spoil anything and it’s just a feeling I get. They might lose power or have to sacrifice it somewhat to attain victory. Little hints I’m getting. Just my opinion though.
I did see some subtle hints not too long ago regarding a certain Moro character.
As long as Goku doesn't get his tail pulled into existence and Vegeta does get hit with a fake moonlight machine....
They're going to do something with it. Even if it's exclusive to Broly because it would be too much of an asspull to introduce that Wrath form where he contains the Oozaru in his base form and not develop it further. I could be wrong though and MSS4GA!
