Dragon Ball Super If UI Goku fused with SSB Vegeta, would they be a match for Beerus?

I know because of the power levels not matching, they would need to do a fusion using the potara earrings but if they were able to do this while Goky was in his Ultra Instrince form, do you think they would be a match for Beerus? Either being very close, right on par, or stronger than him?

Only if Goku learns how to do it at will. If it’s accidental then once they fuse that lack of knowledge how to use the technique is going to cause the fusion to lose it.

So I guess Vegito could use UI Omen now since Goku knows how to use it at will.

Maybe it will be something that is explored in the future because they just keep raising the stakes.

I don't think it would matter whether Goku's Ultra Instinct when they fuse or not, fusing would likely remove the transformation/state. A big point of how Ultra Instinct was stated to function was allowing the body to react instinctively, inhibited by active thoughts, and in the anime it was even shown during the Kefla fight I believe that Goku was struggling when it came to attacking in the form because he was still putting active thought into how he attacked (or something to that accord, I don't remember exactly how Whis worded it). Because of the mental state that seems required for Ultra Instinct, I imagine fusion only makes it more difficult to access/maintain, especially when one of those individuals is the proud Vegeta, who Whis stated multiple times his weakness was thinking too much during battle.

That is a good point. He wouldn't be able to achieve it or maintain it because of Vegeta's presence even if he was able to access it by will. I don't know if Vegeta will ever achieve something like this and it would make sense to keep it that way just because of his pride being a huge part of him.

I think that is down to Whis and who he appoints. I don't think Goku would be able to destroy earth for that role. Though Vegeta would probably get a pass since his world is already gone.

Would this even be possible considering vegeta doesn't have the mentality for UI? Like would it be some kind of incomplete form? But to answer the question I think most likely. The evidence isn't sound, but in the broly movie goku claims broly is stronger than beerus possibly, and gogeta easily defeats broly, so in this fusion i would assume that this vegito is stronger than that gogeta, therefore vegito would be stronger.

Now with Vegeta's new Ultra Ego technique. Ego would cancel out Instinct since they're polar opposites. It would have to be base and an either/or thing, I assume.
