Is Moro Based on Baphomet?

I am not following the manga but I do know of Moro and the general story that was happening with him. Just trying to keep that tucked away until they do the actual anime series so I can be more surprised by it. Anyways, I was looking at Moro and since I know someone who is into occult/pagan things, I know about Baphomet. I didn't make the connection until now but it seems there has been some inspiration taken there.

Moro was designed by Toyotarō. He was designed with the intent of appearing as a being of pure evil who the reader could not see as ever becoming good (like King Piccolo. He was based off western demons, specifically goat-like ones.

Baphomet is the demonic entity allegedly worshipped by the Knights Templars who later became a symbol for Satanic worships. During the Inquisition of the Templars in the 14th century, the knights were falsely accused of worshipping this figure. The famous icon of Baphomet, i.e. as a goat-headed idol, however, only emerged much later on. This icon quickly became a symbol of the occult, specifically as a representation of evil and the Devil.

There is a reference in the bible that says:
"And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon."

These titles mean "the destroyer". So I am thinking this is a representation of Satan from a biblical and philosophical standpoint pulled from "western demons" like the wiki page says.
