I've wanted to do it for a while now, but I don't really have the money for it. And I feel nervous for asking my parents for permission to cosplay.
If it's a passion you want to pursue, your parents should be supportive, particularly when it's cosplay characters like Chi-Chi. It's not like you're looking to put everything out there like Jessica Nigri does, Chi-Chi has a very modest look, so they should have no problem supporting something you're passionate about!
The problem would not be the outfit itself. Rather, the cost of it all would be a problem as cosplay can be a lot of money.
