Video Games Nintendo Switch & Virtual Console Games

Do any of you know why Nintendo hasn't come out with Virtual Console games over Nintendo Switch Online? I mean this is 2021! The Coronavirus pandemic is finally going away! So now would be a better opportunity than ever to replace Nintendo Switch Online with Virtual Console games.

They're not going to replace it, nor should they. From what I understand, I don't have Switch online, it's not a bad deal or selection of games. But what I don't understand, is why only have it be the streaming service? Why not have those games be available on the streaming service online thing, and also have the ability to purchase games on the Virtual Console as well?

It doesn't need to be one or the other. I don't really care about the NES or SNES games since I have the SNES classic but if they ever start adding N64 or especially Gamecube games, let me buy those individually.

They might end up making N64 or even GameCube classics eventually though, which I'm sure you'd be more interested in. They are technically both classic systems after all.

I would love that so much but I doubt they'd do that. I think the Classics were originally released for quick profit during the holiday season when they were struggling because of the Wii U, at this point the Switch is a bonafide smash hit, I just don't think they have the incentive to manufacture them at this point.

You just need Nintendo switch online to play them but they work natively!
