Me and Jay started watching it some time ago. We are on the third season. I never read the book so don't @ me on that lol

I am enjoying it quite a bit. The characters have been great. I think June's actress does a great job at portraying a woman in her position. I also really enjoy the characters of Fred and Eyebrows (Nick lol). The story itself has some VERY dark scenes and I am almost shocked by some of them. I told Jay just yesterday, you replace the symbol on their flags with the Nazi symbol and you would not know the difference in some of the scenes.

Anyone else watching this series?

There are so many good one-liners.

There is this part that I laughed about for weeks. I don't want to spoil anything so I won't say who is saying it but the person goes "When did you become such a BITCH!?" and I lost it. It was not expected. I still have the video clip saved on my computer.

It does seem like the kind of show that's done well enough that even as serious as it is meant to be taken, you'll find things to laugh about. When I can find more time I definitely plan to watch as much of it as I can.

There are loads of these moments. I mean it pulls you back and forth. The cast was so well thought out too. Like they picked the perfect actors/actresses to play the roles of the characters and it shows. There is just so much going on and sometimes one episode is filled with love, romance, pain, suffering, hate, betrayal... Just everything. It is an insanely good series.

Granted, I have a hard time looking past Commander Waterford being the same guy that cuckolded himself to Jude Law in Enemy at the Gates (Commisar Danilov)
