Why do more, series died after Cell saga? Nothing got better than Cell. I gave GT a chance, but it was boring at best. Most of the characters in GT you don't even connect with. Especially the new Goku upgrades.

Majin Buu was ok for a new villain, but they dragged it a bit too long on the fat buu, and killed any anticipation for the Majin Buu era.

It sounded cool - Vegeta gone mad, and evil? That would've worked somehow in the Cell saga, like around the time Cell killed Trunks. Or shortly afterwards to give Vegeta something to live for.

Overall, Dragon Ball Z was peak. All those fans are fickle and dropped off.

Nah Cell is pretty mid TBH! Firstly its missing the humour for the most part which is toriyamas strong suit!
Also Goku exit seems pretty Contrived and gohan in general was never as fun of a character like goku!

I would say in Gt you get Attached to Pan, Trunks and giru granted they drop of hard but you do get attached!
Also SSJ 4 and the return of kid goku are really fun!

Hello Fat and kid Buu are the best buus! Especially because super buu is two separate people that arent as extreme as fat and kid characterwise!

Granted yeah Evil Majin Vegeta was probably the low point of the character tbh if he stayed dead it couldve worked MAYBE but in super hes mostly just back to being an angry bean so thats not ideal! I do think GT and super manga vegeta show some actual progression tho!
 
I’m late to this but this was great news. I always loved her voice acting as Kid Goku and Kid Gohan more than I dis Kid Goten’s and Kid Trunks’ voice acting for example, as well as Kid Krillin’s and Kid Chi Chi’s.
