Anyways, this seems to be one of the most expensive middle fingers I have seen done in movies all because the wrong message was received from the first movie and people were not suppose to relate to the film. Like no joke, it was coined a film for white supremacy, remember that? Clearly my and many other people's interpretations were wrong and the director wanted to make sure to ruin the first movie for everyone by releasing a sequel that undoes everything that happened in the first one... Making the Joker weak, cowardly, and unlikable. They basically injected him with soy and made him sing and dance.
The ending basically has Harley change her mind about him, get him locked back up after escaping, then some random dude kills him in prison and then this dude cuts the sides of his mouth like the Dark Knight's Joker... Implying that was never really the real joker but this insert random dude at the end was/is... So basically the entire first movie that actually had deep meaning and ties to mental health, political and media corruption, that spoke to people on a deep level was just a pointless waste of time.
I am not going to watch it but I did read reviews and got the message loud and clear... Todd Phillips is a weak, cowardly, and unlikable person. It is almost hard to believe both these movies were written and directed by the same guy. I guess he really did just get lucky with the first one and had to ruin it for everyone over politics. What a loser. I won't ever watch his movies every again.
