Absolutely, and they're going to get torn to pieces by the real world when they finally get there. Not prepared at all for reality.
It is sad really, hopefully, parents are willing to make some changes so not all the kids grow up to be overly sensitive wet paper bags.
Agreed. My sister's friend has 3 kids and she's raising them more like traditional kids. You fall down, you get back up, you don't sit there and cry and wait for a gold star. You do bad, you get a punishment, you cry about your dinner, you do without. Her two oldest are teens now and both good kids, not snowflakes, and her youngest is almost 3 and she's one hell of a character. I think she'll be the strongest member of her grade when she gets to school, because she's not been raised as though she's made of glass and going to break if she fails.
Ah, Game Theorists, love the channel. It's an interesting theory, and makes a lot of sense (haven't play TLoU 2 yet, so can't comment too much on it beyond what I've seen in videos and read in threads), but if that's the route they go...how disappointing. So one of the greatest games of its' generation (TLoU) gets the sequel I wish they hadn't put out because, like Half Life 2, the hype around the previous game was just too great, and a sequel was always going to disappoint. Now the theory claims that what started out as a great storyline is going to whimper down to be nothing more than a Walking Dead or Maze Runners cliche ending? Ugh...that would be lazy on Naughty Dog's part, so I hope it's not true, but the theory makes sense...it does...
Yeah so if the devs thought this much into it, it would seem he would be correct which means the whole basis of the first part of the story was pointless.
Agreed, which is devastating my mind, because of how much I love TLoU and what implications that has if this is indeed how it plays out.
