And this is a serious question. Which portion of Dragon Ball do you prefer overall, the Majin Buu Saga OR the Entirety of Dragon Ball GT? And why?

Majin Buu. We got to see more development of Vegeta and lesser characters like Hercule. We also got to see the introduction of fusions which was enjoyable. GT was good for what it was (at least to me) but if you compare it to Dragon Ball, DBZ, and even DBS, it just doesn't hold up. There is too much missing and yet too much going on. Don't get me wrong, I love the concept of SS4 and the Baby thing was a fun watch but there was just more to enjoy in the Buu Saga, even with Gohan becoming... well, not what we thought he'd become.
Agreed, completely, this was Vegeta's true emotional maturity time, when he became a truly rounded individual and not just the arrogant prince (he's still that, but he's more than that, too). That alone makes it so much better than the entirety of GT. Hercule becoming Buu's best friend, and them raising a little dog together was great, too, showed a new side of Hercule that was much needed. GT has moments, but...a lot of it is...

While the Buu arc has it's issues it doesn't drag itself down nearly as bad as the inter-arc filler bull shit that GT throws at you. That and the entirety of the Super 17 arc. We can totally keep GT Vegeta minus his weird hair cut, SSJ4, Baby, and most of the Shadow dragons. The rest is meh at best and eye rolling bad at worst.
Let me test this chamber for any echoes, the Buu Saga is easily better. Yeah, that's a pretty strong echo. Part of me feels a bit dirty declaring so definitively when I haven't seen all of GT, then I think, the Buu Saga never made me stop watching as a kid? GT did though, multiple times. Couldn't get through the first saga, I never finished it and got back to watching around Baby. Couldn't finish that either because of how dull I found out. Didn't finish that so tried the Shadow Dragons arc later and only pushed through the first dragon. Whereas the middle bit of Buu mostly sucks but I generally love the bread of that sandwich.
