So NYC has it pretty bad with an orange haze. Looks like Cali did last year or whenever it was they were having fires.

Our skies have had a yellow tinge to them and it looks like a slight filter is on but nothing this bad:

We are still in an air quality warning until Friday at midnight. It seems like the worst of it is passed us though.

Rumor has it some of these fires in Canada were started intentionally. Would not be surprised. A lot of nut-job climate activists are doing all sorts of stupid things these days.

It is real, just not common on this side of the country. It happened in Cali not that long ago. I can't remember how to explain it but it has to do with how the smoke mixed with the sunlight causes a filter in the sky.
