Saiyan Saga is more or less a non-starter for me, but I do appreciate it as it's the last time every single warrior had any sort of relevance. The original anime run drags on too far in places during the training phase, and even after Vegeta and Nappa turn up it can be slow at times. There's parts of Frieza Saga I do and don't like, and parts that drag on, but it's generally pretty enjoyable for me. Again, the filler in the leadup to them getting to Namek sucks, but it's otherwise pretty solid and has a great cast. The final fight between Goku and Frieza is easily the best thing to come out of the series. I personally think the Cell Saga as a whole is pretty decently paced. I was never really bored, and there was always some sort of surprise or twist. The Gohan vs Cell fight is one of my favourite parts of the series. Buu Saga is easily the worst part. Some re-watches I don't even bother and just stop at the end of the Cell Saga. Goten and Trunks are super annoying, Gotenks is useless, they nerfed Gohan and made him unlikelable as Great Saiyaman, and the pacing is all over the place. The Faulconer soundtrack isn't as good as the rest of the series in general (but the Super Saiyan 3 and Ultimate Gohan themes are riots).
