So i own the two South Park RPGs on UPlay (because they were cheapest on there when I wanted them). Today I went to reinstall the client and was told my user name and password was incorrect - alright, I may not have them right.

I logged into the website on my browser with the credentials and it worked. Did it on the client again and it worked. :wut:

Not a case of me typing them wrong. Literally copied and pasted from my password manager.

TLDW:

Three guys got called out for all sorts of things.

One would sexually harass and abuse women in the office. A few of his actions include kissing them at random, playing a game called cat and dick, blasting porn through his speakers, he had other employees pin down a woman so he can force his tongue down her throat, another he told to get on a desk and do a handstand while wearing a skirt... and that same one he tied up and put in an elevator with no way to free herself.

Another one was very openly racist. He targeted a female Muslim worker and singled her out in 2015 over some Islamic attacks. During their religious fast, he would leave pork and bacon on her desk and would change her desktop wallpaper to a bacon sandwich when she left the office. He also has sexual abuse allegations against him.

And the third dude... Was morality based attacks. Nothing sexual but he was verbally abusive to coworkers.

Dozens of people came forward against them. All of this is going to trial.
 
Microsuck is looking to buy the IPs of Ubisuck.

Looks like things aren't going to improve for the games I once enjoyed anytime soon.

I hope they take legal action. This is ridiculous what they did. They made Lady Oichi his love interest. She is one of Japan's most iconic women and was known for her deep loyalty to her husband.
 
I'm kind of in two minds, in that it is - loosely - art, so it shouldn't really be beholden to any government (aside from the obvious exceptions), especially laws of a foreign nation. And a lot of games really aren't sandboxy or destructive in ways they should be. And I mean, you have all sorts of media pissing on Christianity all the time.

But also I know Japan in particular has had many issues with foreigners in recent years just being idiots, to the point that they're banned from the geisha district in Kyoto, and they've had to erect a big ugly fence outside Lawson in Fuji Kawaguchiko because tourists were being nuisances. And I assume it's gotten a billion times worse since social media influencers.
