Vegeta fighting Gohan on Earth (end of Freeza saga)

I don't know if someone else noticed this, but when It was wished for Shenlong for everyone on Namek who was killed by Freeza to revive and teleport to Earth, Vegeta was among those ppl, ofc... But in the anime they portrayed Vegeta's intentions differently. Vegeta was seen there as desiring to conquer the world and seeing Goku and Freeza's death as a step towards that... He even fought Gohan... While in the manga there was nothing sort of that. Rather, Vegeta wanted to comfront Goku again and prove his worth as a warrior.

Anyone else noticed that?

This was part of a character struggle. Vegeta was shown as wanting the dragon balls to overthrow Frieza and reclaim the power his father handed over to him when he was a child. When he realized Frieza was behind his mental and emotional abuse and finally admitted to it in a confession to Goku, he knew he was going to die. When his life was restored, he stumbled on Goku as a Super Saiyan and I think he was happy and angry at the same time. When he thought he had been killed along with Frieza, well that established him as what he believed to be the strongest fighter in the universe. I think this was dealing with a power struggle within himself and ultimately showed how much he grew as a character in the long run. I preferred it this way vs in the manga.

I also thought it was really weird for Vegeta to start beating up Gohan for no reason at all in the Anime. LOL.
