I like dubs but if the show is good enough, I am not bothered by subs. I just prefer to be able to listen since I am sometimes multitasking while watching stuff. Kind of hard to look away when I need to read what is going on. lol I just need to learn Japanese already and beat out the middleman here. I know I am missing out on tons of good anime because I am stubborn. lol
When it comes to Anime during the 80s and 90s, the sub obviously, considering dubbing back then wasn't near as accurate as it is today. When it comes to Anime in the 2000s and beyond, the dub for sure. I like newer anime better than older Anime overall, and English is my native language and only language, so I choose dubbed Anime.
I really appreciate the Japanese actors and the emotion they put into their characters. Not saying that the English actors don't, but I really like subs. Like @Beerus, sometimes I prefer Dubs when I'm trying to multi-task or I'm trying to relax and am too tired to be constantly reading.
