Television When will South Park return?

I haven't seen anything on this since the Pandemic/Vaccination Special.

I am hoping they get a new season out this year. There is so much they can use with everything happening. Like every new thing I think "Oh, South Park totally has to do something on this!". Recently, Ben and J.Lo getting back together. I thought it was a joke but they could totally do the Cartman hand thing again. lol They could have Jenner running for office as well. Buckle up, buckaroos!

At this point, I don't know, but I would like to see a full season again though I would like if they moved away from Randy. The last couple of seasons where fine and the specials were great, but I am tired of Randy Marsh and all his shit it was fine at first; now I am just tired of it. Also, it sucks they haven't been able to do a full season because 2020 could have been peak South Park, I mean it would have pissed off everyone and anyone and it would have been great, but things happen and I get it. Though I still blame Trump for ruining one season of South Park.

Yeah, I just want a full season. The Specials are fine and all, but a full season would be way better. Though South Park may just do specials from here on out and everything, and worse case is that it was silently canceled

It mentions that South Park has been renewed through 2022 so far. I'd wager to say they will continue with some more seasons, but as the article mentions...Trey and Matt have no intentions of doing this when they're in their 60's.

They should at least do one last season if they plan on being done with it. Maybe cap it off with a movie after that.

I definitely like South Park better than any other animated comedy, but I'll be the first in this thread to say that sometimes it can get too juvenile and vulgar for my personal taste, at least taking into consideration how old I am.

With that said, I am also satisfied with it actually ending soon as well. Good to see they're not milking a cash cow dry like The Simpsons and Family Guy. On an irrelevant note, The Simpsons just got stale, but Family Guy became toxic.

Yeah, the Simpsons did indeed get stale, and Family Guy just became a try-hard series. How far can we push it to shock people?!? Let's do that again! Both well past their expiry date.
