The witch character that had the hardest time:

To answer sincerely, Kid Gohan. Easily. All the others were adults who were well and truly experienced at life and death (even if Future Gohan had to grow up very quickly); Kid Gohan was literally a pampered little kid with no experience or interest in fighting. In the space of a year, Kid Gohan (a 3 year old):
- was kidnapped by his uncle
- watched his father die
- was kidnapped by another evil alien he'd only heard stories about (and the only one who could stop him was now dead)
- was left to fend for himself with no human contact for 6 months (and had probably never even been camping before)
- had to quickly learn combat with a very painful instructor
- watched almost all of his father's longtime friends die one-by-one
- was almost beaten to death by two of the strongest beings that had set foot on the Earth at that time
