Dragon Ball Would you have liked Launch/Lunch to stick around?

For those of you who have watched Dragon Ball, you should remember Launch or "Lunch". I found her character to add a bit more humor to the story in a different way. Given the fact that she had some kind of split personality disorder that manifested both mentally and physically with a sneeze always make her character easy to place in different situations. She was very prevalent in Dragon Ball but only seen a few times in Dragon Ball Z by way of the Vegeta Saga and during the Kid Buu Saga where she is shown giving energy to Goku's spirit bomb.

Would you have liked her to stick around in the story more?

I didn't spot this thread before. My only input here is to say I did really enjoy the character but she couldn't have had major role in the story once they advanced to power ups. The only way she could have stuck around is if they put her in a relationship with one of the main dudes. Tien seemed to be the obvious choice but I believe he is celibate.

I agree, Lunch didn't have a purpose after Part I, but Krillin shouldn't have been the only male earthling to have gotten married. Tenshinhan should have married her too, even if Yamcha was dumped by Bulma for Vegeta.

He seemed to never have any interest in women but had they got together and married, I think having another female in the main group would have been good. Especially since they softened up Videl. I know some people who do fanfic often include her in the story. I liked her character a lot because she was human but still vastly different than the average human female.

I think they could have done some more with her and I would have enjoyed it. Totally agree how she wouldn't be able to fit in any adventures after power ups, but she could have still filled the role with comic relief from time to time. I read several places that Akira Toriyama simply forgot about her.

Only if they manage to actually do something with her outside comic relief.
