Dragon Ball Super Should DBS go back to the standard DBZ format?

I saw a few articles complaining about how the manga seems to be following the same formula as DBZ did. To me, that isn't entirely a bad thing. I am fine with it so long as they make any kind of powerups more fulfilling and meaningful and stop rushing things. A lot of things felt rushed in DBS thus far. Slow it down a bit. Thoughts?
 
I'm all for slowing the pace down again, it's not a race! Granted, it doesn't need to take 20 episodes to reach a power up like SSJ on Namek :D. Granted, if you want to kill Krillin or Yamcha to make a power up happen, I can swallow that sadness! But a happy medium between DBZ pace and faster pace wouldn't go wrong.

We forget that Dragon Ball had a good pace before DBZ pumped the brakes and decided to stretch things out. DBS is too inconsistent because it's too fast for some things and too slow for others. We need to find a happy medium.

The Moro arc is the best arc of Super so far in my opinion (though I suppose the ending could ruin it, we'll see how it plays out), and I think the influence of the Dragon Ball Z style of arc is a big part of the reason, if not the main reason. I won't go into too much detail due to spoilers, but like for example Moro is actually a serious threat, and it's treated with the dramatic weight of the Z arcs. Or how Vegeta gets his own big character arc throughout the Moro arc which is something Z did really well, every major saga came with a different character arc/growth for Vegeta. Super, despite basically being a buddy cop series about Goku and Vegeta, mostly dropped this. Like he had one in Battle of Gods, and the anime gave him one in the Tournament of Power (one of the only improvements the anime made in that arc) but otherwise he's been in focus but hasn't had a character arc or goal in Super.

The other elements I could mention feel more spoiler-heavy, but needless to say, I disagree with those articles.

I'm also enjoying the Moro arc. I think they're doing pretty good there and it does remind me of times past. As I've said many times before, the consistency in power levels and what not has always bothered me. It will be interesting to see how they proceed (I'm only as far as Moro's success on Namek with his wish) as that's the latest published version available for me right now. It also seems that Moro's power isn't as permanent as I was originally led to believe...it seems the Saiyans can eventually recover from it.

But yeah, back on topic. The formula in DBZ wasn't bad, minus how long it took to do everything in the anime...the manga itself didn't seem to take nearly as long. The build-ups bring a lot of excitement for me, personally.
