Listen, white people, stop being white people and carry defensive measures when you go out into the wilderness. Even if it's a can of bear spray. I have a 3" S&W 586 that is my "woods gun." If I'm ever inclined to go into Grizzly country then that's going up to my Kimber 1911 in 10mm with 200 gr hardcast. YMMV.

uhhh...yeah. Come to think of it...I'd still need a new pair of pants, but if I lived in a place that had those types of creatures lurking...I'd definitely take defensive measures with me. Fo sho...

In all seriousness. If you live in an area where there are animals that can kill you, keep a gun on you when you are out in the woods. Even if it is a tranquilizer gun.
