I grew up never thinking about this stuff and honestly didn't up until a few years ago. I have been brainwashed to see the racisms!!!
They actually switched things up a bit in the reboot movie from a few years ago. Billy was a black kid with autism, the black ranger was Asian, and the yellow ranger was Hispanic.

I feel like someone who did the originals was laughing at an inside joke or something. Like most kids wouldn't think anything of it but you know the parents had to put 2 and 2 together. lol

I have no idea. I want to say, this is just a product of getting older but I can't accept that. Rap was WAAAY better in the '90s and I hardly even listened to it. I only appreciate it now because of what the genre has become.

Agreed, Tupac is decent, Gangsta's Paradise is great...even Snow is better than today's noise...

Yep, but to balance it out they needed a second girl for western audiences, because #earlykarentriggers

Haim Saban is the one who Americanized Super Sentai. He must be responsible.

My childhood wants to cringe at the reboot, but it actually wasn't as awful as I expected it to be.

I feel like someone who did the originals was laughing at an inside joke or something. Like most kids wouldn't think anything of it but you know the parents had to put 2 and 2 together. lol

Parents just want something to shut the kids up, so they don't necessarily see the patterns, either ;)

I liked aspects of it quite a bit. Hated some things, like how the Zords and Goldar looked...as well as the way they morphed. I loved the idea of Rita being the original Green Ranger and Zordon the original Red Ranger. They did a bit of virtue signaling, but it wasn't awful.

Agreed, Rita and Zordon being the original green and red rangers was a really good twist, makes the power coins make a bit more sense as to where they came from. Totally agreed on the zords and Goldar, they looked pretty bad, Goldar was just a mindless robot, which was unfortunate. Having him with a personality and talking, like in the show, would've been nice.

So that Adrian guy finally uploaded a new video. I gave this workout a try, only did one round to see how my neck and shoulders felt. Seem to be okay so I am going to try to do the entire workout to at least get as far as I can with it and see how I feel. Going to get my cleaning and work out the way first in case I need to lay down after this LOL

It is just this with breaks in between:

X1 each: 30 seconds of jumping jacks + 30 seconds of shaking a sheet + 30 seconds of squats - 1 min 30 seconds
X2 each: 30 seconds of jumping jacks + 30 seconds of shaking a sheet + 30 seconds of squats - 3 minutes
X3 each: 30 seconds of jumping jacks + 30 seconds of shaking a sheet + 30 seconds of squats - 4 min 30 seconds
X4 each: 30 seconds of jumping jacks + 30 seconds of shaking a sheet + 30 seconds of squats - 6 minutes
X5 each: 30 seconds of jumping jacks + 30 seconds of shaking a sheet + 30 seconds of squats - 7 min 30 seconds
X6 each: 30 seconds of jumping jacks + 30 seconds of shaking a sheet + 30 seconds of squats - 9 minutes
Freestyle/Cooldown - 2 minutes



I guess the way this kind of workout functions is like HIIT where you want to get your heart rate up, then let it slow down a bit and bump it back up. Apparently, this is one of the faster ways to get in shape so we will see. I remember reading a comment a while ago from a woman who was doing his workouts and she had lost 100 pounds in 3 months which is insane. I think she was doing 2 workouts a day 5 days a week though. I don't have that much to lose so it will likely come off slower.
 
No, I did not have it. Got almose halfway and had to stop. Those jumping jacks messed up my right shoulder. lol I'll have to do it again tomorrow. Eventually, I will be able to finish it. Didn't want to screw up my shoulder anymore though. Nuts that I did it for like 10 min and I am covered in sweat and feel like I got hit by a bus. I must be very out of shape lol
