For context, Muta likes to call out scammers. He likes to make people aware of big scams both on and off the platform. He did a recent video on the cash app scams and it was flagged and taken down while the actual scam videos remain up and generating views. If YouTube does nothing about this, they will be facing a lot of backlash.

The dude is legit helping people and gets punished for it. I have seen so much BS pushed on this platform it is unbelievable. They allow scam videos, naked yoga (which is clearly sexual ffs), videos showing dudes getting things shoved up their asses, pedophile crap, drug use, nudity/gang culture in music videos... But this, this is not acceptable. Man, f this platform.

Yeah, there was another person who was/did the same thing as Muta and his goal was to find and report harmful videos, you know like you should and how people abuse it. Eventually he kept doing it so much that YouTube temporarily suspended his account for "too much flagging". He later made a video on a series of people he did the same thing, unjustly might I add, and they were never suspended or nothing.

In the end, YouTube is a weird place and a hard place to really control honestly, but I mean come on. Naked Yoga isn't there for "educational purposes" it is there for wanking. This actually reminds of a recent thing about Twitch and the "hot tub" streams women were doing. One streamer pretty asked, "Would be okay if a thirteen year old girl did the same thing as these girls?" She actually had logic behind because she used the Twitch ToS against everybody, but it was interesting nonetheless.

Yeah, both Muta and Charlie talked about the hot tub thing. I had not idea this was a trend but apparently, it is. A woman apparently got in trouble because she jiggles too much and when she moved, they said she was twerking. Like, come on man. The fact that a 13 year old can do this is reason enough to not allow it though. Like imagine if a girl lies about her age, starts a channel, and dudes are on Twitch flirting with her who are 18+ and have no idea.

Yeah, it was/is a trend and it got to the point where they were calling other women saying they stole their idea and all kinds of madness. Pretty much, though in another way of thinking that would the perfect way to catch predators and such so, but yeah Twitch and YouTube as a whole are really weird and hard to figure out.

I don't think there is any saving them. They have become too big and too many people see them as a way to get rich.

I am in the middle. I think there is a way on saving them, but you will piss people off on all sides of the field. As far people using them as a job and such I have no problem with it to some degree.

YouTube needs a big reset button applied to it. Get rid of the scam videos, get rid of the pseudo porn that's clearly not there for educational purposes ('sup "hand expressing breast milk" videos?), and get rid of Twitch RL streams and boom.

In fairness, people complain about female streamers no matter what they do. The ones that are just there playing games normally and happen to wear something low cut are considered just as bad as the ones who whore themselves out for views because prudes can't handle the simple fact that females have boobs, boobs move around, therefore they must all belong to whores.

As for finding ways to make pseudo porn streams legit to give the actual whores ways to make money, that part is ridiculous. Especially because they're right, 13 year olds can do that, too, and that's disturbing levels of wrong. Hell, 13 year olds watching those sorts of streams is wrong, participating in them is...eww...though you're both right, great way to catch some pedos...

You know, "Just Chatting" or whatever Twitch calls it shouldn't be a thing. Let the platform be for gaming and launch a secondary site for the rest of it.

Apparently, Mr. Soy Boy Twitter owns the parent company of the cash app so that is why it is being ignored. What bs.

Imagine being a creator who is up and coming and something like this happens. There is a good chance YouTube just ignores you.
I'm sure they mostly ignore the big boys, too, unless they can gather enough of their followers to hound YT into action. But yeah, if you've not got that following in the first place, it'd be impossible to get their attention, no doubt. You'd just have to live with a bullshit strike.
